Coelodonta (name meaning "Hollow Tooth"), also known as the Woolly Rhinoceros, is a genus of Ice Age rhinoceros that originated during the Pliocene epoch in what is now Tibet and parts of Siberia and Central Asia, but expanded its range to include Europe during the Pleistocene. This rhino fully adapted to the hostile conditions of the Late Pleistocene.
Thought to have been extinct for 10,000 years, there are still large groups that remain alive on Primeval Island. In fact, they are among the most common rhino there, alongside Elasmotherium.
