Troodon (name meaning "Wounding Tooth") is a genus of theropod troodontid dinosaur that originated during the Late Cretaceous period in what is now North America. A small but highly intelligent carnivore and among the first dinosaurs discovered in North America, Troodon possesses a deadly venomous bite, which it uses to subdue its prey.
Thought to have been extinct for 65 million years, there are still some that remain alive on Primeval Island.
