Tarbosaurus (name meaning "Alarming Lizard") is a genus of tyrannosaurid dinosaur that originated during the Late Cretaceous period in what is now Asia. One of the largest theropod dinosaurs and the apex predator of its time and region, Tarbosaurus was the second-largest member of the Tyrannosaur family, after Tyrannosaurus itself.
Thought to have been extinct for 65 million years, there are still some that remain alive on Primeval Island. In fact, they are one of the island's apex predators.
Trivia[]
- The sound effects of Tarbosaurus are that of bear, crocodile, and tiger sound effects. They also produce the roars of the Tyrannosaurus rex featured in "Jurassic Fight Club".
