The Ruler of Heaven is the leader and lord of heaven's angels. It is also the absolute overseer of Heaven, a realms which serves as an eternal dwelling place for God, the angels, and all righteous deceased mortals. The current ruler of Heaven is Oracle. It is the title and the highest position an angel can hold over not only Heaven, but the entire Multiverse itself.
Additionally, the angel that rules Heaven would also be the Ruler of All Creation. Angels have also called the Ruler of Heaven "the Sovereign", which Rayne described as being the celestial equivalent to the President of the United States.
History[]
Even before Lucifer fell from Heaven and tricked Gadreel to corrupt Mankind, Heaven was ruled by God from His throne room. But sometime after Oracle's return, He left and gave Oracle the honor to rule the Multiverse. However, Oracle and Michael then put themselves in the middle of a civil war. Although Michael had temporarily won, he was then defeated by Oracle and the Original Angel now rules all creation.
Characteristics[]
The Ruler of Heaven has complete authority over all the angels and the souls of Heaven. God, as the creator of Heaven and its angels, is the most eligible candidate for the position. In God's absence, the most powerful angel is next in line to take the throne, though the angels can also elect whomever they choose, as in the case with Oracle.
When the angels cannot immediately decide who should rule Heaven, many individual angels will rise up to make claim by forming their own faction and try to exterminate their rivals. When only two sides stand out, this can lead to Civil War.
