Rhamphorhynchus (name meaning "Beak Snout") is a genus of Rhamphorhynchidae pterosaur that originated during the Middle Jurassic period in what is now Europe. An iconic pterosaur known for its long tail, Rhamphorynchus was also a coast-dwelling pterosaur.
Thought to have been extinct for 145 million years, there are still some that remain alive on Primeval Island. In fact, they are among the most common Pterosaur there, alongside Pteranodon, Quetzalcoatlus, Geosternbergia and Dimorphodon.
