Maiasaura (name meaning "Good Mother Lizard") is a genus of hadrosaur dinosaur that originated during the Late Cretaceous period in what is now North America.
Thought to have been extinct for 65 million years, there are still herds that remain alive on Primeval Island. In fact, they are among the most common Hadrosaurs there, alongside Corythosaurus, Edmontosaurus, and Parasaurolophus.
