Koolasuchus (name meaning "Kool's Crocodile") is a genus of brachyopoid temnospondyl that originated during the Middle Cretaceous period in what is now Australia. Though the youngest known temnospondyl species, Koolasuchus is perhaps the largest prehistoric amphibian of all time.
Thought to have been extinct for 106 million years, there are still some that remain alive on Primeval Island.
