Kaprosuchus (name meaning "Boar Crocodile"; also known as a Boar Croc, in reference to its large, boar-like front teeth, which resemble that of a boar) is a genus of crocodyliform that originated during the Early Cretaceous period in what is now Madagascar. It was named for its unusually large caniniform teeth which resemble those of a boar, from which gave it its nickname, the "Boar Croc".
Thought to have been extinct for 70 million years, there are still some that remain alive on Primeval Island.
