Johannes Gustav was a great German monster hunter and the ancestor of Mia Salvatore. He specialised in hunting big game in German East Africa (now Tanzania), but also hunted vampires, werewolves, and other monsters across the world. However, he was also a racist and white supremecist, who believed in the Aryan race, and was notorious for hating and even murdering black Tanzanians, Dhampirs, and Jews. This is the reason why Mia dislikes Johannes Gustav, though he is her ancestor. He is also one of the descendants of King Arthur and a member of the Order of the Church.
