Jafar

Jafar was the vizier of a sultanate in Arabia. Originally a slave captured from Northwest India, he rose up the ranks by converting to Islam, and fighting in numerous battles. However, a young thief and his friend, a Jinn, deposed him, and became the new sultan by marrying Jafar’s master’s daughter.
