Gomphotherium is an extinct genus of proboscids from the Neogene and early Pleistocene of Eurasia, Africa, North America and possibly also Asia.
Thought to have been extinct for 10 million years, large groups still roam on Primeval Island. In fact, they are the most common elephant on the island alongside, the Woolly Mammoth, Columbian Mammoth, and American Mastodon.
