Entelodon (name meaning "Perfect Tooth"), also known as the "Hogs from Hell", is a genus of entelodont artiodactyl that originated during the Middle Eocene in what is now North America, Europe, and Asia. Standing 2 meters tall, measuring 3 meters long, and weighing a ton, these monstrous swine-like omnivorous animals are very distantly related to modern-day swine, and more closely related to hippos and whales. Despite being an omnivorous creature, Enteledon, judging from its teeth and jaws, killed more often than foraged.
Thought to have been extinct for 18 million years, there are still some that remain alive on Primeval Island.
