Dilophosaurus (name meaning "Two-Crested Lizard") is a genus of dilophosaurid theropod dinosaur that originated during the Early Jurassic period in what is now North America. A ferocious dinosaur, Dilophosaurus is one of the earliest theropod dinosaurs, recognized by the two crests on its head.
Thought to have been extinct for 170 million years, there are still some that remain alive on Primeval Island.
