Daspletosaurus (meaning "Frightful Lizard") is a genus of tyrannosaurid dinosaur that lived in North America between about 79.5 and 74 million years ago, during the Late Cretaceous Period.
Thought to have been extinct for 65 million years, there are still some that remain alive on Primeval Island.
