Corythosaurus (name meaning "Helmet Lizard") is a genus of lambeosaurine hadrosaurid dinosaur that originated during the Late Cretaceous period in what is now North America. A relative of Parasaurolophus, this herbivorous dinosaur is distinguished by its bright colors and impressive head crest.
Thought to have been extinct for 65 million years, there are large herds that still remain alive on Primeval Island.
