Ceratosaurus (name meaning "Horn Lizard") is a genus of theropod dinosaur that originated during the Middle Jurassic period in what is now North America, South America, Europe, and Africa. A medium-sized theropod, Ceratosaurus is characterized by a prominent, ridge-like bladed horn on the midline of its snout.
Thought to have been extinct for 145 million years, there are still some that remain alive on Primeval Island.
